Playing in the fountain...

Today we met a few mom's from our motherwise group at the Beaverton fountain. It was fun to catch up with them and see how everyone's kids have gotten bigger (and it's only been a few months since we saw them last!). I didn't get any pictures of anyone's kids except for Grace and Baylie, everyone else has big kids so they were off playing with each other.

Hannah and I rode together and on the way home we were driving through the neighborhood right next to Beaverton High School and realized there were tons of Police cars, Police vans, and a couple of Police trailers parked around us. Then we drove by a street and it was barricaded by the police. We could see the SWAT van down in front of a house and a bunch of Police men standing around. Both of us quickly called our husbands (we got Merrick, but not Matt) and Merrick looked up on the internet what was going on. Basically we had driven through a house hold up were a fugitive was hiding out. Big drama for what was supposed to be just a day in the park!
